RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat said in Nagpur- End the caste system for society's benefit

Nagpur: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has appealed to end the caste and varna system. Bhagwat said – Every person who wants the interest of the society should realise that the Varna and caste system was an old thinking, which should be forgotten now. Bhagwat said these things at a book release program in Nagpur on Friday.

Accept mistakes without hesitation: He said that anything that is creating discrimination should be completely rejected. Be it India or any other country, previous generations have definitely made mistakes. We should have no problem admitting to those mistakes.

Earlier on Wednesday, the RSS celebrated Vijayadashami in Nagpur. At the Dussehra celebrations, Bhagwat had said – Fear is created among the minorities that they are under threat from us or Hindus. But this is neither the nature of the Sangh nor of the Hindus.

He said: We need a Hindu society, which neither threatens nor accepts threats from anyone. It is not against anyone. The Sangh takes a pledge to support brotherhood, harmony and peace.
