Rishabh Pant Health Updates: Plastic Surgery Performed, Cricketer Stable


Dehradun: Rishabh Pant's condition remains stable after the accident. There was no injury to his brain and spinal cord. Now his knee and ankle scans are yet to be done. Pant's face has undergone plastic surgery. Pant's conditio is stable and out of danger.

Kher, Anil Kapoor meet Pant: Bollywood actors Anupam Kher and Anil Kapoor have met Rishabh Pant. Both inquired about Pant's health. Earlier, BCCI Secretary Jai Shah had also spoken to Pant's family and promised all kinds of help. PM Modi has also spoken to Pant's family.

DDCA team has left to meet Rishabh Pant. Delhi District Cricket Association President Shyam Sharma has said that Rishabh Pant will be airlifted if needed. However, Pant's condition is out of danger.

Pant's head and spine scans have been done and the reports are normal. At the same time, today he has to have a scan of his knee and ankle. 

Ligament injury would require further investigations: Dr. Sushil Nagar of Saksham Hspital in nearby Rookee, who treated Pant in emergency, said the cricketer didn't suffer any fracture but there was a ligament injury on his knee which would require further investigations.

"When he was brought to our hospital, he was fully conscious and I spoke to him. He wanted to surprise his mother and was going back home," Dr Nagar said.

Ligament tears have various grades and it can take 2 to 6 months to regain complete fitness.
