Indian Woman Anju Alias Fatima Who Married Pakistan FB Friend Missing Her Children, To Return To Meet Them

Peshawar: A woman named Anju, who came from India to marry a Pakistani citizen in a remote village of Pakistan, can return home next month. Her Pakistani husband said this.

He said that Anju is mentally disturbed and is badly missing her two children.

Anju had accepted Islam on July 25 and changed her name to Fatima. After conversion, she married 29-year-old Nasrullah, a resident of Upper Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Both of them became friends through Facebook in 2019.

Nasrullah said, “Fatima (Anju) will return to India next month.”

He said, “She is mentally disturbed and is missing her children very much. She has no option but to return.”

Anju’s first husband lives in Rajasthan

Anju was earlier married to Arvind. Her first husband lives in Rajasthan, and they both have a 15-year-old daughter and a six-year-old son.

Nasrullah said that he does not want Anju's mental health to deteriorate further. He said, “It is better that she goes to her country and meets the children.”

He said she would return once the documentary process was completed. Nasrullah said, “It will take some time and it is possible that she may return to India next month.”

Anju's Pakistani husband said that if he gets the visa, he will also go to India.

Anju and her husband Nasrullah had come to Peshawar on a day-long visit for the first time after getting married in August this year.

According to the information, Anju had expressed her desire to see the ancestral house of late Bollywood actors Dilip Kumar and Shahrukh Khan in Peshawar.

Anju said, “I have learned some words of Pashto language. Before coming to Pakistan, I had no idea that I would become so famous here.”
