Bhopal: The role that former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan will play in the BJP may soon be revealed, as he has been summoned to Delhi. According to sources within the BJP, the party's high command has called Shivraj Singh Chouhan to Delhi  on Tuesday, indicating a forthcoming significant decision regarding his position. After stepping down as Chief Minister, speculation arose regarding the nature of responsibilities that would be entrusted to Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the future.


It has been reported that JP Nadda is scheduled to engage in a conversation with him regarding his prospective political trajectory. Speculations circulating within political circles suggest the likelihood of his relocation from Madhya Pradesh, potentially acquiring significant portfolios in the Modi cabinet. Alternatively, there is speculation that he could assume a crucial role within the national organization of the BJP.


Sources suggest that Shivraj Singh Chouhan is expected to arrive in Delhi Tuesday, although details about the leaders he will meet remain undisclosed. Despite participating in discussions related to the cabinet formation in Delhi, Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed his lack of information about the meeting.

JP Nadda had dropped hints about Shivraj Singh Chouhan's future within the party, stating that a leader of his stature, with a considerable mass following, cannot sit in home. Nadda assured that a decision regarding Shivraj Singh Chouhan's role and new responsibilities will be made promptly. However, Nadda did not specify whether Shivraj Singh Chouhan's responsibilities would be centered in Delhi or Bhopal.


Following the BJP's triumph in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, questions were raised about Shivraj Singh Chouhan potentially moving to Delhi. In response, Shivraj asserted his intention not to relocate, stating during a media interaction in Bhopal that he would prefer not to make personal demands from the party, even if it meant facing unfavorable circumstances.
