Madhya Pradesh: Kamal Nath's Loyalist Sajjan Singh Verma Confirms From Where Nakul Nath Will Contest Lok Sabha Election-2024

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Congress MLA Sajjan Singh Verma, a close associate of Kamal Nath, assured the media on Monday that the former CM has no intentions of joining the BJP. Verma confirmed that Nakul Nath, MP and son of Kamal Nath, will run for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections-2024 from the Chhindwara constituency under the Congress banner.

Addressing the media, Verma stated, "There were some minor issues between Nath and the party, which have now been resolved. The father-son duo remains committed to the Congress."

Verma emphasized that all is well within the Congress party and mentioned the preparations for welcoming Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Madhya Pradesh.

Speculation arose about 15 to 20 MLAs potentially joining the BJP along with Nath and his son. However, it remains unclear whether the Naths will make such a move, and Kamal Nath is expected to provide clarity through a press conference.

Meanwhile, the "Jai Shri Ram" flag, hoisted at Kamal Nath's Delhi residence on Sunday, was taken down on Monday afternoon.
