ISRO Launches GSAT 30

The Indian Space Research Organization ISRO has achieved a major milestone.  ISRO has successfully launched satellite GSAT 30.  ISRO launched the European space agency Arianspace's French 5-vehicle Ariane in Guana on January 17 at 2: 35 am.  

According to ISRO, this satellite will replace INSAT 4A.  The weight of this satellite is about 3357 kg.  This is the first mission of ISRO 2020.  ISRO believes that the launch of this satellite will increase Ku-band and C-band coverage.  It has been launched for a 15-year mission.
