Kaushalya Utsav, Development Of Ram Van Gaman Path In Chhattisgarh Before Elections, How Bhupesh Baghel Is Countering BJP's Hindutva Card

Raipur: Bhupesh Baghel government of Congress celebrated Kaushalya Utsav before assembly election in Chhattisgarh. Through this, CM Bhupesh Baghel is trying to counter BJP's Hindutva card. In order to snatch the issue of Shriram, the Congress government has already taken up a big campaign to develop Ram Van Gaman Path as a tourist destination. Now CM Bhupesh Baghel wants to give a big message through Kaushalya Utsav.

Cong govt celebrated festival in Chandkhuri

It is believed that Chandkhuri near Raipur in Chhattisgarh is the birthplace of Mata Kaushalya. The world's only Kaushalya Mata Temple dedicated to mother power is located in Chandkhuri. To promote women empowerment, a three-day Mata Kaushalya Mahotsav was organized in the temple premises. The festival concluded in the special hospitality of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Monday. Apart from this, idols of Shriram will also be installed at nine places on the path of Ram Van Gaman.

Along with Chandkhuri, Lord Ram's statues have been installed in Rajim and Shivrinarayan. It is being said that before elections, the Chhattisgarh government wants to give a message that Lord Ram and Hindutva are not a monopoly of BJP. Baghel has tried to counter BJP's hardline Hindutva.

Baghel accuses BJP of doing politics in name of Ram

Meanwhile, CM Bhupesh Baghel has also accused BJP of only doing politics in the name of Ram. CM Bhupesh says BJP has been using Ram's name only for vote bank. Raman Singh's government was in power in Chhattisgarh for 15 years, even after that BJP did nothing here. On the other hand, the Congress government has actually worked for Ram in the state.

Ram Van Gaman Path will be ready in three months

In fact, like in other states of the country, the Congress in Chhattisgarh does not want to allow the BJP to gain a one-sided edge in the matter of Hindutva. This is the reason why in the coming three months, the Congress government is preparing to complete the work of development of Ram Van Gaman Path in the state.

Ram's statues will be installed

The places which have been selected for the installation of the idols of Shri Ram include Sitamarhi Harchoka Korea, Shivrinarayan, Ramgarh, Rajim, Turturiya, Sihawa Saptrishi Ashram, Ramaram of Sukma and Jagdalpur. Statues of 25feet each will be installed at these places. While the tallest 51 feet statue has been installed in Chandkhuri. Not only this, work is being done to develop nine major places of 2260 km of Ram Van Gaman Path as tourist places.

Cong’s bid to snatch Hindutva issue from BJP

In fact, the BJP has often accused the Congress of adopting an indifferent attitude towards Hindus and made it an election issue. Among the matters on which BJP has been putting Congress in the dock, the issue of Hindutva was the most important.

Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat had come to Raipur last days. Then an invitation was sent to Mohan Bhagwat on behalf of the Congress. In which he was called to see how the Congress government of the state has refurbished the Kaushalya temple. Accepting the invitation of Bhupesh Baghel, Mohan Bhagwat also went to Kaushalya temple and saw the work there.
