1200 Year Old Goddess Durga Sculpture Recovered From Budgam

Latest reports have been coming in from Budgam Police which has recovered a 1200-yr-old (approx) sculpture of Goddess Durga from Khan Sahib of Budgam.  According to the reports coming in the sculpture was handed over to Mushtaq Ahmad Beigh, Deputy Director Department of Archives, Archaeology and Museums, Jammu and Kashmir Government and his team by Tahir Saleem Khan, SSP Budgam according to Jammu and Kashmir Police. Pertinent to mention that the said sculpture was found from river Jhelum at Pandrethan, Srinagar by labourers who were extracting sand from the river on 13th August 2021 according to Jammu and Kashmir Police.

Indian Navy Participates In Joint Exercise Malabar 2021

Latest reports have been coming in from United States of America where the official residence of president of United States of America in a press release has stated that a total of approximately 10,900 people were evacuated from Kabul, Afghanistan today.  According to reports coming in from White House in a special mission 15 US military flights carried approximately 6,660 evacuees, and 34 coalition flights carried 4,300 people. The White House further tweeted that since August 14, the US has evacuated and facilitated the evacuation of approximately 48,000 people.  Since the end of July, we have relocated approximately 53,000 people as per the White House tweet on Afghanistan.

According to Border Security Force and Rural Punjab police said that they have recovered 40.810 kg heroin, 190 grams of opium, two plastic pipes from Panjgraian area of Amritsar.  However a FIR has been registered by Rural Punjab Police, Amritsar.

According to reports coming in India has registered 36,571 new cases in the last 24 hours. The active caseload stands at 3,63,605.  These numbers are the lowest numbers in past 150 days.  Recovery rate of people from covid-19 in the country has also gone up to 97.54% according to Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
