Even as the country and administration of Union Government has been stating that cases of covid is now coming down but the situation is totally different when it comes to paper. As per latest reports coming in India's COVID19 tally had crossed 62 lakh mark with a spike of 80,472 new cases & 1,179 deaths reported in last 24 hours. These cases are the latest reported cases in the country in the past 24 hours.  Now with the coming of these cases the total number of covid-19 cases tally stands at 62,25,764. 75 MDMA Tablet Detained In Bengaluru From Netherland

Ministry Of Defence Approves Procurement Of Airfield Weapons

Reports have been coming in from the Defence Ministry which has confirmed the procurement of trans receiver set and smart anti receiver airfield weapon. As per reports the defence ministry under the Buy Indian (IDDM) category had given the DAC approval for the procurement of Static HF Tans-receiver sets & Smart Anti Airfield Weapon.  HF radio sets will enable seamless communication for field units of Army and Air Force & are being procured at approx cost of Rs 540 Crore. Defence Acquisition Council has approved proposals for capital acquisitions of the various equipment required by Indian Armed Forces at an approximate cost of Rs 2,290 Cr.  These approvals includes procurement from the domestic industry as well as foreign vendors.

Covid 19 Cases Still On Rise In Country But Recovery Rate Has Increased

Reports have been coming in from covid-19 where the sharp rise of covid-19 is still not stopping. As per reports coming in around 88,600 new cases reported in the last 24 hours. These cases which have been coming up are coming from 10 States and UTs account for 77% of new confirmed cases.  According to Ministry of Health and Family Wellfare most of the cases have been coming up from the economic heart of the country Maharashtra which  has contributed more than 20,000 followed by Karnataka andAndhra Pradesh with more than 8,000 and 7,000 cases respectively. As per Ministry of Health and Family welfare around 92,043 new recoveries have been reported in the last 24 hours in the country.  As per reports coming in 76% of the new recovered cases are found in 10 States/UTs. Maharashtra has alone contributed more than 23,000 followed by Andhra Pradesh with more than 9,000 cases.

CBI Registers Two Cases In Custodial Deaths

Reports have been coming in from Central Bureau of Investigation which has registered the in the deaths of father and son who died allegedly due to police torture. As per reports CBI investigation revealed that the father-son duo was arrested in the evening of 19 June & allegedly tortured at Sathankulam (Thoothukudi) Police Station by accused.   After arrest the accused were consequently tortured to which both of them succumbed to the injuries & died in the intervening night of June 22 and 23, 2020. Now the CBI had also registered two cases on 7th July related to allegations of custodial death of two traders (father-son i.e P. Jeyaraj & J. Benniks) in Kovilpatti on the request of Tamil Nadu Government and  further notification from Government of India.

As per reports coming in from Telangana City bus services have been resumed in Hyderabad after 6 months when the lockdown was implemented at the onset of Covid-19 pandemic in the country. 13 Pairs Of Trains Cancelled In Punjab Due To Kisan Rail Roko Protest

Reports have been coming in from Punjab where Kisan Mazdoor Sangh has been protesting continuously against agriculture bill presented by the government. As per reports Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee continues their 'rail roko' agitation in Amritsar, in protest against the FarmBills.  The Committee is holding the 'rail roko' agitation from September 24 to 26 against the Bills.  In this regard the government has decided that 13 pairs of trains have been short-terminated as a precautionary measure against the protests over the agriculture bills. we are avoiding train routes to Punjab. Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh (in file pic) has appealed to the farmers to strictly maintain law and order, and adhere to all COVID19 safety protocols, during today’s Bandh against the Agriculture Bills: Punjab Chief Minister's Office (CMO)
