According to reports the minister has informed that he will be signing a treaty with the car makers of the country to prepare cars which will run on this fuel. The Minister has said that he is going to sign a file in the next 2-3 days. In this file the Minister has informed that the carmakers will be asked to make engines that can run on 100% bio-ethanol. According to Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari this is the after European countries that any Asian country will be preparing vehicles that will run 100% on bioethanol. This fuel will be cost effective as well as there will be no pollution when the vehicles will run on this fuel.

Centre Informs SC It Would Revisit ₹8 Lakh Annual Income Limit For EWS Category

Reports are coming that the government on Thursday has informed the Supreme Court about its intention to revisit the limit of Rs. 8 lakh annual income fixed for determining the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category.  The government's submission came in a case filed by NEET aspirants challenging a July 29 notification announcing 27% quota to OBCs and 10% reservation to EWS in the All India Quota (AIQ) category. Reports are also coming that the government assured the court that the NEET counselling would be deferred for four weeks till a decision was taken on the EWS quota.  The government has taken a decision to revisit the criteria with regard to determining the Economically Weaker Sections in terms of the provisions of the explanation to Article 15 of the Constitution inserted by the 103rd Constitutional Amendment Act.
