Reports have been coming in from Turkey where a major earthquake struck killing around 17 people so far.  According to Turkey's media Search and rescue operation is underway in Izmir city after an earthquake with a magnitude of 7 on Richter Scale hit Aegean Sea, causing massive loss of life and property.  As per reports coming in Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency, death toll stands at 17 so far, 709 injured.  The Turkey media has reported that around 196 aftershocks have been felt with 23 hitting over magnitude 4 following major Izmir earthquake.

Jammu And Kashmir Administration Increases The Pilgrims Count For Visiting Maa Vaishno Devi Darbaar

As per reports the Jammu and Kashmir Government has made changes in thr limit of pilgrims, visiting Mata Vaishno Devi shrine and has increased the number of pilgrims from 7000 to 15000 per day, with effect from 1st November, 2020. Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine was opened by the administration for pilgrims in the Unlock 4.0 under severe vigilance.   The administration had made arrangements to check every pilgrim visiting the shrine of Covid test and maintaining all the protocols of the covid-19. Now everything had to be booked online starting with the registration of the devotees visiting the shrine.

Covid Cases Surges To 48,648 In 24 Hours In The Country

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare have given latest data of positive cases of covid-19 in the country. As reported India has surged with 48,648 new COVID19 infections in the country in the past 24 hours. Now with the recent surge India's total cases stands to 80,88,851. With 563 new deaths in the past 24 hours, total deaths now mounts to 1,21,090 due to covid-19.   Right now the total active cases are 5,94,386 after a decrease of 9301 in last 24 hrs. Total cured cases till now since the onset of Covid-19 are 73,73,375 with 57,386 new discharges in last 24 hrs.

As per reports coming in from Bengaluru, Karnataka City Police Commissioner has issued orders prohibiting sale, consumption, procurement and storage of liquor or any intoxicant in specific areas. Blast In Peshawar, Pakistan Mosque Leaves Eight Dead And 110 Injured

Reports have been coming in from Peshawar where an explosion at a mosque and madrassa (religious seminary) in Pakistan’s northwestern city of Peshawar on Tuesday left at least eight people dead and more than 110 injured.   Many of the injured are said to be children and students of the Madarsa where the blast took place. The blast took place at around 8.30 am local time at the Jamaat mosque, which serves as a religious school named Jamia Zubairia Madrassa, for the local community in the city’s Dir Colony. According to Pehawar police students, including many adults, were studying the Quran when the explosion occurred.

2nd Meeting Of India-Central Asia Dialogue To Be Held Today
