Modi Union Cabinet Approves BharatNet Implementation Strategy

Latest reports have been coming in from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare which has shared the latest data for covid-19 cases in the country. According to this data there has been a rapid decline in the active cases in the past 24 hours. According to sources India has reported 45,951 new COVID19 cases in the country in the past 24 hours.  The country has witnessed 60,729 recoveries and 817 deaths in the last 24 hours as per the Union Health Ministry. The total cases in the country now stands at 3,03,62,848.  The total recoveries reports at 2,94,27,330.  And active cases is at 5,37,064 till now.  And the death toll is at 3,98,454. The total Vaccination done is at 33,28,54,527 which is the record number after United States of America. The active caseload now has declined to 5,37,064 and the recovery Rate increases to 96.92%.

Four People Lost Their Lives In Delhi In Fire After Cylinder Blast

As per reports coming in from Delhi,  four people died and another person sustained burn injuries in a fire that erupted following a cylinder blast. NSG Investigating Drone Attack In Jammu And Kashmir

India Reports Lowest Cases In The Past 24 Hours

Latest reports have been coming in for Ministry of Health and Family Welfare which has shared the latest data on the new cases of covid-19 in the country. As per sources coming as India has reported 37,566 new COVID19 cases in the past 24 hours in the country. Till now 56,994 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. And 907 deaths in the last 24 hours as per the Union Health Ministry. The total number of cases in the country now stands at 3,03,16,897.  The total recoveries till now is 2,93,66,601.  And active cases tally is at 5,52,659.  With the present data the death toll is at 3,97,637. According to sources India reports less than 40,000 daily new cases after 102 days. Recovery Rate has also increased to 96.87% as per Union Health Ministry.

Security Beefed Up In Jammu And Kashmir After Two Drones Sighted

Latest reports have been coming in from Jammu and Kashmir where the Defence personnel has sighted two drones on June 27-28 night. As per reports coming in two separate drone activities were spotted over Ratnuchak- Kaluchak Military area. These drones were sighted by alert troops on the intervening night of 27-28th June according to sources coming in from PRO Defence, Jammu And Kashmir After the sighting of drone high alert was sounded and Quick Reaction Teams engaged them with firing.  However, both the drones flew away. A major threat thwarted by the alertness and proactive approach of troops.  Security forces are on high alert and search operation is in progress according to Lt Col Devender Anand PRO (Defence) while speaking to ANI. Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel have been checking vehicles in Kaluchak area of Jammu. It is reported that the drones flew back after QRT engaged them with firing. Security forces have been sounded on high alert.

Two Sikh Girls Kidnapped At Gunpoint In Srinagar

As per reports two sikh girls were forcibly kidnapped at gunpoint and later converted and wedded to elderly men of a different religion.  The sikh community representatives Manjinder S Sirsa, SAD leader in Srinagar appealled to Centre to take action. He led a protest against the alleged forced conversion and wedding of Sikh girls in Kashmir.

However around 58,578 recoveries and 979 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours as per the Union Health Ministry. With these numbers the total cases in the country now stands at 3,02,79,331.  The total recoveries reported are 2,93,09,607.  The total active cases in the country is at 5,72,994.  The total death toll reported so far is 3,96,730.  The total recovery rate is at 96.80%. India has administered 32,36,63,297 doses of COVID vaccines and has  overtaken the USA as per Ministry of Health and Family welfare.

The SC has said that the oxygen audit team has submitted its report before SC and has stated that the Delhi government exaggerated its oxygen requirement by four times during the peak of the second wave of COVID crisis. 12 People Injured In Blast In Pakistan

Two People Lost Their Lives While Five Injured In Accident In Tunnel Construction In West Bengal

Latest reports have been coming in from West Bengal where two people have lost their lives during the tunnel construction work  As per reports two people have died and five other have been injured in a caving-in incident during tunnel construction work at Sivok–Rangpo rail line at Bhalukhola, Kalimpong.  As per reports two of the five injured shifted to Paramount Hospital in Siliguri and three shifted to Kalimpong Hospital.  More details have been awaited as the administration, Police and fire tenders have been pressed in action in the rescue operation. According to Project Director, IRCON while speaking to ANI has said that necessary precaution was taken by officials before undertaking rescue operation.  Part of the cave fell on workers and there was no time for them to escape. Adequate compensation and support will be given to workers' families who died in the incident.

Pakistani Drone Intercepted By BSF Troops

As per reports coming in at about 4:40 am on June 18 a Pakistani drone was intercepted by BSF troops. The BSF troops fired at the drone near BOP Aabad following which it went back.  Search operation was also conducted as per AS Kang, Station In-charge, Dera Baba Nank Police Station, Gurdaspur.

Famous Sportsperson Milkha Singh Passes Away Due To Covid

Latest reports have been coming in from Punjab where famous sportsperson Milkha Singh have passed away following covid19. As per reports coming in Milkha Singh and his wife have both passed away being infected with covid. It is stated that Milkha Singh had turned out to be negative from the virus and later developed complications leading to his death. Latest are the visuals from the residence of former sprinter Milkha Singh in Chandigarh. Milkha Singh, widely regarded as Flying Sikh, passed away last night.  His wife Nirmal Kaur died on June 13.

Niti Aayog Ascertaining Positivity Criteria Among Children In Third Wave

Latest reports have been coming in from Niti Aayog which in a press conference has said that WHO-AIIMS survey shows seropositivity in persons below and above 18 years of age is almost equal.  In persons above 18, the seropositivity rate is 67% & 59% in persons below 18. In urban areas, it is 78% in persons below 18 & 79% in above 18: Dr VK Paul, Member-Health, Niti Aayog  In rural areas, the seropositivity rate is 56% in persons below 18 years of age & 63% in persons above 18.  The information show that the children were infected but it was very mild. Parliamentary Committee Questioning Twitter Representatives On Their Policies

As per reports coming in from Delhi where meeting of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information and Technology including representatives of Twitter also present at the meeting. At the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information and Technology, in response to the question has been informed if Twitter India follows the law or the land.  A Twitter representative said, "We follow our own policies" as reported by the sources. Parliamentary Standing Committee members asked Twitter representatives appearing before it to submit in writing, "How are you placed in Twitter India and how much executive authority you have in terms of taking important policy decisions" according to sources through ANI.

Flash Floods In Nepal, 3 Indians Missing

Latest reports have been coming in from our neighbouring country Nepal where things got worse due to flash floods. As per reports coming in from Nepal till now around 3 Indians and 3 Chinese nationals among 20 Nepalese citizens have gone missing in Sindhupalchok flash floods. This information have been confirmed by the District administration Office of Sindhupalchok. However the administration has started rescue operation in full swing. The police and fire brigades have been pressed in along with the local administration.
