  DUBAI: Satwik Sairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty scripted history on Sunday, April 30 by becoming the first doubles pair to win a Gold medal at the Badminton Asia Championships.    Last year, the pair won the Thomas Cup, Commonwealth Games and World Championship medals for the country. The pair has achieved another feat. An Indian pair has become the champion for the first time in the 61-year history of the championship. Punjab Gas Leak: Children Among Nine Die In Ludhiana

LUDHIANA  (PUNJAB): At least nine people died, including children, due to gas leak in Ludhiana, Punjab on Sunday. The accident took place at 7:15 am in a building located in Gyaraspura.  Ludhiana's SDM Swati said that many people fainted after the gas leak. Fire Brigade, Police and NDRF teams are present on the spot. The entire area has been sealed. Thane Bhiwandi Building Collapse: 31 Die, Many Still Trapped In Debris

Thane (Maharashtra): Three people died and 10 people were rescued from the debris after a multi-storey building collapsed in Thane's Bhiwandi area on Saturday afternoon. Many people are still trapped. Police are present on the spot along with the fire brigade and disaster management team. Avinash Sawant, head of the regional disaster management cell, said several people were feared trapped under the debris. The ground plus two-storey building in Wardhaman compound collapsed at around 1.45 pm on Saturday, he said.  A family of four lived on the upper floor, while laborers worked on the ground floor. He said fire tenders from Bhiwandi, Thane and other nearby areas have been deployed for the search and rescue operation. New Delhi: Delhi Police will today file a case against Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on allegations of sexual harassment. Delhi Police has given this statement in the Supreme Court on Friday.  On April 21, 7 female wrestlers including a minor had complained of sexual exploitation against Brij Bhushan. When the case was not registered, the wrestlers filed a petition in the Supreme Court.
