Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been called in for questioning  by the Enforcement Directorate  regarding Delhi excise policy case. ED is investigating potential money laundering aspects of the case. Kejriwal has been directed to appear at the Central agency's Delhi office on November 2. Andhra Pradesh Train Accident: Toll rises to 13; mishap occurred as one train overshot signal

The train accident on the Howrah-Chennai line in Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh saw the number of casualties rise to 13, with 50 individuals sustaining injuries, as reported by Superintendent of Police M Deepika on Monday. The accident occurred between Alamanda-Kankatpally in Vizianagaram district. CPRO of East Coast Railway, Biswajit Sahu said, the accident happened due to human error. The driver of the Visakhapatnam-Rayagada passenger train overshot the signal, causing it to collide with the Visakhapatnam-Palasa passenger train which was running ahead. Kozhikode (Kerala): Another case of infection with Nipah virus has been confirmed in Kozhikode district of Kerala. State Health Minister Veena George's office said on Friday that Nipah virus infection was confirmed in the 39-year-old man's sample. He is under observation in a hospital. With the new case, the total number of Nipah infection cases in Kozhikode has increased to six. Those infected with the virus are undergoing treatment in five other hospitals.    A five kilometer radius of the houses of the two people who died due to Nipah virus infection has been made an isolated area. There has been a 19 percent increase in mangoes exported from India to foreign countries during the months of April to August of the financial year 2023-24.    India has exported total mangoes worth $47.98 million during this period. Whereas during the same period of 2022-23, India had exported mangoes worth a total of $ 40.33 million. 27,330 tonnes of mango exported from April to Aug 2023   The Commerce Ministry has released data regarding mango exports from India. The ministry said that Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, has exported a total of 27,330 tonnes of mango during April to August 2023, which was 22,963.78 tonnes in previous year during the same period. Kochi: There is news of at least two bomb blasts in a convention center in Kochi, Kerala on Sunday morning. So far one person has died in the two blasts in Kalamassery, Kochi. 36 people have been injured in the blasts, out of which five are seriously injured. The explosion is reported to have occurred at the convention center affiliated with a Christian group, with a call for police assistance coming in around 9 am. Canada has decided to deport over 100 Indian students who reached Canada on fake admission letters. 103 Indian students, including those from Punjab, will be sent back because Canada has refused to allow fake international students' entry into its country.  However, the case of 700 students sent by the visa consultant of Jalandhar is different, for which separate investigation is going on.  A study visa consultant in Jalandhar had sent more than 700 students to Canada on the basis of fake admission letters.
