According to reports  gold bricks worth Rs 4700/- Crore of 11793 kg has been recovered by the police from the house of a former Mayor. The case is of China's Danzhou Province.  The house is said to be from the house of 57-year-old former Mayor Zhang Qui. According to media reports, the police had received information of the gold bricks through sources and on the basis of this police has recovered the biggest treasure so far from the house of the former mayor.  Police has also recovered cash from the mayor's house in addition to the gold bricks. Around 100 children were found tied with chain in an Islamic School in Nigeria.  Police have rescued around 500 people from an Islamic school in Nigeria.  From 500 rescued around 100 kids were minor.  According to the chained children staff of the school used to rape them. Reports are coming in from Uttarakhand where debris of the landslide hit a car leaving 6 people dead and four seriously injured. The incident occurred in NH-58 when a vehicle in which some devotees were travelling was hit by a landslide and the debris of mountain fell on their car near Tinadhar, In Devprayag, Uttarakhand.  Condition of 2 people among four injured is stated to be critical.

Today in Jammu and Kashmir security forces have killed three terrorists in an encounter going on in Ganderbal since morning. In Ramban, two suspected terrorists tried to stop Sen's convoy and attacked the security forces but the terrorists managed to escape. After that security forces surrounded the whole area. According to the information received, it is reported that three terrorists have been killed in an encounter with security forces in the forests of Naranad of Ganderbal in Jammu and Kashmir. The driver of the bus informed the nearest army post. While returning back after UN Summit Pakistan PM Imran Khan is stuck in New York as the plane he was travelling developed technical fault and had to be grounded at John F Kennedy airport for four hours.  There developed an electronic issue in the plane.   The plane is owned by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman. The aircraft will fly to Pakistan after removing the technical flaws. Imran Khan has checked in a hotel in New York.

On the 112th anniversary of the freedom fighter's birthday, people across India are paying tribute to his contributions to society. He was the gem to the nation and his birthday is being celebrated across the country. He was the greatest revolutionist and had a great share in India's struggle for freedom. He was 21 when he fatally shot a British officer named John Saunders in a case of mistaken identity who he assumed was James Scott, the officer behind the assassination of revolutionary Lala Lajpat Rai.   He fled Lahore after that, with associates Shivaram Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar.  Singh, along with Rajguru and Sukhdev, was sentenced to death for conspiring to kill Saunders. He died on 23 March 1931, aged 23.

BJP is leading from the seat while Congress is leading in Chhattisgarh's Naxalite affected Dantewada assembly seat 13 candidates have landed in the by-elections in Pala assembly constituency of Kerala. The by-elections were held here due to the death of former Finance Minister and Kerala Congress leader KM Mani. While Tripura's Badharghat seat is vacant due to the demise of BJP MLA Dilip Sarkar.

Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar will appear before the Enforcement Directorate today. Section 144 has been implemented outside the ED office at Ballard Pier and other areas of South Mumbai for security.  Before appearing before the ED, Sharad Pawar had said that he would appear before the Enforcement Directorate on Friday in the bank scam case and will support them fully. Sharad Pawar asked the party workers not to congregate near the office of the central agency here and make sure that there is no inconvenience to the people. However, his grandson Rohit Pawar has appealed to the party workers to gather in Mumbai on the day of appearance.  Sharad Pawar said on Wednesday that he would appear before the investigating agency in the money laundering case registered against him in connection with the Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank scam. Hyderabad recorded cloud burst in the wee hours of Friday morning.  The cloud burst happened at around 3 AM  with a rainfall recorded around 15 cm in 2-3 hours. Cloud burst collapsed a protective wall against Hussain Sagar Lake leading to water entering to around 200 homes and adjoining areas.   Several parts of the city had knee high water as when the rainfall that started in the wee hours of Friday plunged the city with water all over resulting in the collapse of the protective wall of Hussain sagar lake.  No casualties reported so far.
